I lived here a year. It is a convenient location with many apartments overlooking Lake Michigan. There is no air conditioning. There is hardly a minute that goes by without a car alarm blaring on end. Management is usually pleasant, but can be disorganized. They will basically clobber you if you are an hour past due on the rent. Security deposit is the highest in the city, but five weeks after moving out, I haven't received my refund or an accounting for it. I think you're better off in the suburbs and commuting in. |
