Reviewer:   Anonymous   Review Date:  3/22/05      Rate This Apartment     When I first moved in to my one bedroom, the place was great. Fresh paint on walls and hardwood floor was scrubbed and waxed. Within about a month, the paint had started "bubbling" like it had air pockets behind them, flaking, and cracking. Mysterious brown water spots that you can wipe off appeared on the ceiling of my shower. Mind you that there is no fan to ventilate the steam so you have to keep your door open. The plumbing was bad--shower water took forever to drain and there was a leak underneath my bathroom sink that almost ruined the cabinet underneath. That's not the worst of it. My place got robbed twice and I live on one of the top most floors! All my small expensive electronics were taken. The locks on the doors suck and my deadbolt was tampered with and even if you lock the bottom lock a good push can open the door. The management didn't even post a note telling people that robbery was going on. They ignored me basically. I asked that they watch their survalience tapes but they never got back to me. They supposidly have security doors but as of recently, the back door has been left unlatched because of renovations going on. But on many occasions I have found the door to be unlocked up until 11pm. IF you can...dont' live here. They are trying to sell them as condos...but don't buy if you can. Stay away.
