Apartment Review for 1212 South Michigan - Chicago, IL

The office staff ruins what might be an otherwise decent apartment. For the amount I pay, I expect to be living in a luxury or at least hospitable apartment. However, the office management is horrible to deal with. I am a perfect tenant (no complaints, never need maintenance or help , clean, quiet, and always early with the rent) but they continually make life hard. I travel often (sometimes for months) and they refuse to be accommodating when I need parking when I come back. They won't leave anything at the front. (If they don't trust their front desk staff, why should I?) They tell you that you can pay for your rent online but neglect to tell you the 75 dollar processing fee. The apartment is drafty, old and I can hear my neighbor sneeze, cough, talk, or even roll over in bed. The workout room is a glorified collection of rusty, broken 80's equipment and the residents steal the TVs. Do yourself a favor, shell out an extra 100 per month for one of the other apts in the area. That's what I'm doing as soon as my lease ends.
