DON'T MOVE TO THIS BUILDING
Review Date: 1/15/2009 Reviewer: Anonymous
You'll pay through the nose while freezing to death in the winter. They switched over to electric forced air heat from cheesy PTAK heaters (like the ones you see in a motel. Not a hotel, a motel). You'll also potentially die in your sleep, or just be sick all the time because they did not install any exhaust fans or ventilation to the outside -- so the carbon monoxide has nowhere to go but in the tiny unit itself. If you want to cook, plan on opening all the windows. Enjoy ten degree winters with the windows open? The building looks nice now since they've renovated it. But that's it. Nice location, 10-footer in terms of looks. Terrible craftsmanship and cheap fixtures and appliances. You can find more room in the neighborhood for the same price without the ComEd cost and the carbon monoxide danger. |
