Apartment Review for 607 W. Wrightwood - Chicago, IL

Hi, my name is Eleni, the owner of this condo. These two girls (Jennifer Katz & Diane Lewis) did the damage, that rightfully they should pay for. They were not closing the shower curtain and got both sides of the drywall soaked, then it started getting mildewy. They called me over to show me and they said "It was like this when we moved in." #1 I would not turn it over like that and #2 CERTAINLY, they would not have taken it like that.

They also had a HUMONGOUS gob of hair in the bathtub drain that the repairman pulled out, because they weren't using a strainer over the drain. They also kept a bathmat continuously in the tub which was BEYOND filthy unerderneath. I would be glad to provide pictures for proof. Can they do the same?

Finally when I had some small discoloration of painting repair done (Diane told me it was not leaking) they both came knocking at my door at 9:00pm (they never phoned first)and Jennifer said "The painter GOT PAINT ALL OVER MY BEDSPREAD." I immediately went into their unit and brushed off A LITTLE sanding dust. I was in fact condescending, one time, to Jennifer when she said she would have her father call me...I replied "Go ahead and have your daddy call me." (For which I apologized after I called her father.)They are troublemakers and I would avoid them in any capacity. They are simply bitter because I would not re-rent to them. When they first viewed the condo, they asked if it would be painted, I said upfront "No, I don't believe it needs it." When the previous tenants moved out, I saw that it did need painting. Even though I ALREADY had a signed lease and did not have to paint it, I STILL HAD IT PAINTED AND THE CARPET CLEANED. My email address is elenib@sbcglobal.net.
