Avoid like the plague

Bad landlords: Beal Properties, (also known as Apartments Management, also known as Byron LLC, Barry Building I, Barry Bldg II, Barry Bldg III, Brompton Bldg, Aldine Bldg., Cornelia Bldg.,etc.) Look for a blue sign with white letters. It's no coincidence that there is a class action lawsuit against these slumlords. They are running this building into the ground and over charging as much as possible. We regularly have no hot water. It goes out about every six weeks. Our doorbells were broken for 6 months. Electrician no. 10 finally fixed them. Electrician no. 3 actually rigged them so if you rang someone's bell, you were automatically buzzed in. Garbage may not be picked up for days. The current janitor threatens people and seems to be a psycho. Dogs are allowed, but the carpeting in the hallway is never shampooed. There are building code violations on this building. It says "Great Apartments, Great Building" on the sign. DON'T BELIEVE IT! |
