Apartment Review for Cityfront Place - Chicago, IL

Although the building looks nice - the walls are too thin. Several times, I have been woken up by loud music. To the building's credit, when I called down to the doorman at 1:30 am to complain, they did send someone upstairs to knock on the person's door and ask them to turn the music down. However, it had already ruined my sleep. I often hear my neighbors nextdoor laughing and talking loudly (amongst other things) when I'm trying to sleep - and no, I don't go to sleep at 9 pm, this happens frequently at 2 am!!!

Additionally, the apt's are too dark at night. You don't get a feel for this when you tour the apts because tours only happen during the day. However, just know that there are no light fixtures in the living rm or bedroom, so you'll have to purchase your own lamps. Even with 2 lamps in the living rm, I feel it's still too dark.

Had I had to do it again, I would not have lived here. For the amt of $ they charge in rent, it's not worth the lack of sleep.
