Apartment Review for Cornell Arms - Chicago, IL

This building as well as the connecting buildings (5216, 5218, and 5220) are not the places you want to be if you actually work for a living! Noisy neighbors that yell in and out of the windows from the courtyard galore! So much so, that since my move in date (February 2003), I've called the police so much that the dispatcher knows me by voice! In addition, to this, the on-site management/maintenance are so rude and lazy, that if anything should go wrong, you'll be better off fixing it yourself! The units are heated by leaky radiators that are controlled by a timer that completely shuts off in the middle of the night! So freezing in the winter is a given! There were numerous days this winter that the building didn't even have hot water....Don't ask for any accommodations, though! Believe me, you'd be fighting the ultimate losing battle! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...HEED MY WARNING! DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS BUILDING!
