Landlord is extremely cheap. Will avoid at all cost any repairs or maintenance that requires her to put out a large sum of money. She will try and do down home remedies, which are only temporary, to fix a problem instead of doing the work that is needed to fix the problem for good. Units are poorly constructed. Huge gaps between floors and baseboards, uneven floors, cable wires and landline phone lines are not run correctly so makes it difficult to get these services in some instances. She is a nice person, and a good landlord until a problem arises then you have fight tooth and nail to get her what she has to do. Area is quiet in the winter but when summer comes, it becomes loud, and sometimes dangerous with gang activity in Washington Park.
