Apartment Review for Lakeview Associates Inc - Chicago, IL

I really love the neighbor around this apartment, so I decided to live here, but it was a HUGE MISTAKE. The antique building looks beautiful, but the hard-wood floor of the apartment unit is about to fall apart. The wall is so thin you can literally pick up every single words of your next door neighbor’s phone call. The marble hallway amplifies any kind of noises directly into your room. Also, I saw few dead roaches during the winter. The Office staff seems very nice for the first impression, but soon you will find out they do not care to take any responsibility of their mistakes, and they lack communication between the tenants and maintenance people. The office staff DID NOT give me a 24hrs-advance written notices, or appointments and the maintenance people walked knocked on my door at 9am and walked in to my bedroom before I rolled out of my bed to get to the door. Also, the guys slam-knocked on my door at 8:40am to “check the tiles” for the thing they were supposed to work on the next day WITHOUT any notification to me. I seriously cant wait to move out. You will get a $200 prize if you bring your friend to sign a lease with you, but screw that…I would NEVER recommend this apartment to my friends, and no wonder they have that kind of prize because no one wants to live in this kind of environment.
