Apartment Review for Maplewood - Chicago, IL

The apartment itself needs allot of fixing, the heaters are old and waste allot more gas. Located at North ave and maplewood, near Western ave. in chicago. A couple of weeks after I moved in i found a mouse in the kitchen. Our lights went off one day and we couldn't contact the landlord to get into the basement. The landlord and his wife are two grouchy people especially the old man. they fooled me at first and turned out to be complete ass holes. The landlord slashed all four of my tires and also my boyfriends van tires (all 4) from then on i just didn't want to bother with him. Didn't even try to get revenge. they will suffer for the misery they cause to their tenants. don't recommend this place at all. tooo many problems and the landlord won't hire anyone he want's to do everything himself or send his wife to do it for him i lived there for six months and was so happy when i got out.
