Apartment Review for Midway Gardens Apartments - Chicago, IL

I am a student at the University of Chicago and I moved into this building because of it's low rates and it's convenient location to campus. DO NOT b lured in by this. This building is constantly experiencing plumbing and flooding problems, the maintenance staff here is lazy, and the office staff is unprofessional and incompetant. I say these things not out of maliciousness, but out of sheer concern for students who may see the "University Students Welcome" sign and get themselves involved in this nonsense. Also they've recently raised the rent by $200 with only a 30-day notice to residents. I believe the goal is to target more university students and forcing older residents out to make room. DO NOT move here! It will be a big mistake that is inconveniencing and a total distraction from school work.
