Apartment Review for S & A Management - Chicago, IL

Lived in the garden apartment. Landlord was supposed to change the carpet before I moved in the listing but claimed since he took so long to rent the place he couldn't afford it. When things broke at first it was always fixed but as time went on response time diminished. Eventually the bars were taken off of the windows and the landlord claimed it was only for a month for a insurance inspection. After which I called constantly to get the bars put back on. Eventully I got robbed. The aprtment is not safe and without bars on the window you are a prime target to get broken into. Also anyone on the sidewalk can see into your apartment so if you are a very private person this is not a good place to be.
