Apartment Review for Times Squares - Chicago, IL

They didn't return my check. The story was... My boyfriend and me brought $300 money order for application fee and credit check at that day. Next day they told us that we didn't pass the credit check, so they wouldn't return $50 dollar for credit check. The rest of money ($200) was for application fee that would be returned within 10 business days. However, after 14 days, we didn't get the money. We called back to ask about it, but they always made up excuses such as their computers were down or they counldn't connet with their bank, so we never got a mailing statement from them. They didn't trust we didn't get the check. They could easy to check the bank statement to figure out if we cashed the check yet,but WE DIDN'T GET ANY PROOF FROM THEM either. DID THEY ACTUALLY SEND OUT THE CHECK? I wonder...That is how they handled things. Sucks!!!
