Apartment Review for Tocal Management - Chicago, IL

The area is decent where I am renting, however I have had several problems with the heat during the winter time, fuzes and loud neighbors ..In the winter time, it is freezing here and since we have the old radiators, there's not much you can do. There isn't a 24 hour emergency number so if you're locked out..your just that, locked out! The hours are monday-friday 9-4. The apartment itself is cool. The maitenance comes out when you need them ( unless of course it is the weekend). The secretary of the leasing office is as rude as they come and acts as if you are annoying her when you come in to ask basic questions. She has a major chip and messes up alot The landlord is always trying to find a way to get money. If you knick a wall he will not hestitate to tell you that there is a charge..he can have a major attitude as well and like I said he appears to try to make a quick buck. He even tried to sell me a stove and refrigerator when other tenants are not paying for theirs. Basically, the area is decent, the management sucks and I would not suggest this place. Things are always in need of repair and you have to call and wait for them to get back to you rather than having a direct emergency number. On top of that they try to talk to you in an inferior matter for their wrong doings...
