Apartment Review for Wirtz - Chicago, IL

My boyfriend (White American) called to make an apointment to see apartment. The rental lady seemed to be really nice. She said "See you guys at the front door."

I and my boyfriend went to see an apartment. We waited at the left door, press the buzz. The lady pointed her hand to the right door instead of open the door for us. We went to the right door. She walked and opened the door for us and said "I means I will see you at this door."

She looked (down) at me just because I am not White. [I am an Asian graduate student] She asked who want to rent the apartment. I said it is me. She began showing her rudeness and discrimation against the race. She said if you are student, even you have a part-time job, you need a cosigner. She also tried to ask about me and my boyfriend relationship. She asked me with questions some kinds of "Do you have enough money?.... Our rent is from 680, the smallest one, to 940, the big one..... I am sorry I cannot show the apartment. You need to come back tomorrow."

I and my boyfriend totally don't want to come back there. The Wirtz mgt should take care of this kind of staff. This lady worked on Saturday afternoon.
